When Jess & Thomas reached out about their engagement, they were open to ideas on making their engagement shoot feel unique to their interests, lifestyle and love story. When Jess & Thomas aren’t out of the country traveling the world, they stay local to Southern California spending most of their time with friends and at the beach.

When I sent Jess engagement inspo pics that involved an electric bike and blurry, film vibe she responded with an enthusiastic YES! and rented a bike immediately.

We met at the beach right before the sunrise, unloaded the bike and went right for the cliffs. I wouldn’t typically recommend riding a bike on the edge of cliff before you’ve had your coffee but in this case it was exactly what they were looking for - photos that felt carefree, adventurous and in love.

Afterwards, we went to the beach to watch the sunrise surf and enjoy our coffee in their custom wedding merch.
