Anniversary

Glider Port, San Diego

Lauren and Jason ditched the winter rain in Portland for a month of beach days and never ending sunsets in San Diego. Their monthlong escape meant I spent a month playing tour guide because that’s what you do when your best friend becomes your neighbor.

When I wasn’t able to join, I gave them a list of the best places to eat, shop and adventure but refused to let them explore the Glider Port & Blacks Beach without me. I still get excited to overlook the windy staircase that drops you off at the beach, explore the cliff paths blindly and watch in awe as paragliders disappear off the edge of the earth. This will forever be my favorite place in San Diego!
